Managing Your Data

Last updated: August 3, 2026

Quenched has no account. We never ask for your name, and most of what the App holds never leaves your device at all. This page explains what exists, what you can delete yourself, and how to ask us to delete the rest. For the full detail on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What stays on your device

These never reach us, so there is nothing for us to delete — they are yours to remove directly:

Delete individual entries any time from the Water Log. Deleting the App removes all of it, along with the random identifier described below.

2. What we hold

Tied only to a random identifier your device generated on first launch — not to your name, your email, or your Apple or Google account:

3. How to request deletion

Because there is no account, the only way we can locate your records is by that random identifier. Send your request from inside Quenched and the identifier travels with it automatically — you do not need to find, copy, or understand it.

  1. Open Quenched.
  2. Tap Settings in the tab bar.
  3. Tap Contact Support.
  4. Start a new conversation.
  5. Write your request — "Please delete my data" is enough.
  6. Optionally add your email address if you would like us to reply outside the App as well.

That is the whole process. We will confirm once it is done.

4. What we delete when you ask

We action requests within 30 days, usually much sooner.

One thing we cannot delete: the transaction itself, which is held by Apple or Google depending on where you bought. We never receive your payment details, and those records are governed by the store's own policy. Cancelling a subscription is likewise done in your App Store or Google Play account — deleting your Quenched data does not cancel a subscription, and deleting the App does not either.

5. If you would rather email

You can always write to support@quenchedapp.com. Be aware of the practical limit: we hold nothing linked to an email address, so an email alone gives us no way to find your records. If you email us, we will either confirm that we hold nothing tied to your address, or ask you to send the request from inside the App so the identifier comes with it.

6. One limitation worth knowing

Deleting and reinstalling Quenched generates a brand-new random identifier with no link to the old one. That is deliberate — it means a fresh install cannot be tied back to your previous use. It also means that if you have already reinstalled, we have no way to reach the records from before, because nothing on your device still points at them.

7. Health data

Health data is a special case: we never receive it at all. On Android, Quenched reads and writes hydration and caffeine through Health Connect entirely on your device; on iPhone and Apple Watch it does the same through Apple Health. None of it is transmitted to us or to any third party.

You can revoke that access at any time — on Android in Settings → Security & privacy → Health Connect, on iPhone in the Health app — or turn Health sync off inside Quenched. Records Quenched previously wrote stay in Health Connect or Apple Health until you delete them there.

8. Questions

Write to us at support@quenchedapp.com, or from the support screen in the App. A person reads every message.
